Hello answerthis:

Thanks for the interesting question.

There is no one set of measurements/ratios that is written in stone
(if you'll forgive the bad pun) for cushion cut diamonds.

The "Cushion Cut" Diamond
URL: http://www.niceice.com/cushion_cut_diamonds.htm
Quote: "There are no established "ideal proportions" for a cushion cut
diamond, however there are cushion cut diamonds which are clearly more
beautiful than others as a result of the attention to detail during
the cutting process."

However, there are some accepted ranges of values for this cut:

Diamond Shapes
URL: http://www.gemnation.com/base?processor=getPage&pageName=shape
Quote: "Squarer-looking cushion cuts (Ratio of 1:1) tend to be
prefered to more rectangular ones (Ratio of 1.2:1). Cushion cuts
should not exceed a ratio of 1.2:1"

Cushion Cut Diamonds Shape
URL: http://www.diamondsourceva.com/Education/Shape/diamonds-shape-cushion-cut.asp
Quote: "Cushion cut diamonds come in various shapes from those almost
square (length to width ratio 1.05 or less) to very rectangular (ratio
1.4 or more) and everything in between."

Search Strategy (on Google):
* "cushion cut diamond" measurements OR ratios
* "cushion cut diamond" measurements OR ratios OR proportions
* "cushion cut diamond" measurements OR ratio OR proportions

I hope this helps.
