Can someone tell me how many surgeries to remove part of the kidney
(also called "partial nephrectomy") are performed each year in the UK?
I am not interested in the number of total nephrectomies (removal of
the entire kidney) -- just partial kidney removal that is used to treat
patients with small cancers and those having just one kidney.

were 416 "partial excisions of kidney" operations in the UK during the
2003/2004 fiscal year.
