I am looking for a website that sells:
1. Non-prescription / clear lense men's or unisex glasses i.e. I do
not need glasses just want them as a fashion accessory
2. For cheap ($20) - I bought a pair of these types of glasses at Hot
Topic for $10 last year
3. And I am particularily looking for rimless / frameless glasses
Thanks

Howdy query2005-ga,

These are the only ones I could find. Would this do? Thanks!

I laughed when I saw the Kung - fu part of the link, but actually
those aren't bad. I would still like to find a website if possible
with some selection. Thanks

I agree the "Kung Fu" part is funky, but probably there as an "eBay" troll.

As for other sources, it appears you get clear, frameless or cheap, but you
are limited to getting just two of the options. I will look further for
some cheap "almost clear" frameless glasses, which might be the only real
option for anything close.

Well you have provided a good answer - on Ebay when you search for
rimless frames, there are a number of options available, including
purchasing the glasses with the demo lenses, and provided that they do
not have the logo of the manufacterer on the lense they can be worn
as-is without prescription lenses. These are in the price range that I
am looking ro- so thanks for the answer.

Glad the eBay reference turned into the answer for your question,
query2005-ga.

In addition to the humorously titled ones that I found, it turned
out that eBay has other sources for the frameless clear glassed
that you were seeking.

BRAND NEW KUNG FU MAN CHU CLEAR SUNGLASSES (As seen in the movies)
http://cgi.ebay.com/KUNG-FU-KARATE-JAPAN-JAPANESE-SUNGLASSES-CLEAR-GLASSES_W0QQitemZ8174164819QQ

"CIRCLE FRAMELESS LENSES FOR A COOL LOOK"

You found that an eBay search on the following produced results.

eBay search on: rimless frames
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=rimless+frames

By adding quotes to the search terms, the search can be a bit more
targeted.

eBay search on: "rimless frames"
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=%22rimless+frames%22

Limiting it to only eBay Stores eliminates ones that might be for
"auction only" or a combination of "auction" and "Buy it Now."
http://search.stores.ebay.com/ws/search/StoreItemSearch?from=R40&fsoo=1&fsop=1&satitle=rimless+frames&sbrexp=WD1S&sbrhrlink=str&sif=1&sofp=4

The following are pretty snappy.

Austin Reed Eyeglass Frames

"These frames are in great condition, and come with neutral lenses.
The lenses can be replaced with prescription lenses, converted into
sunglasses, or simply be worn as a fashion accessory."

If you need any clarification, please feel free to ask.

Search strategy:

Search on Google's Froogle: clear glasses frameless OR wireless -safety

See if your health insurance covers glasses. Go to Pearl Vision and
pick out some frames and tell them you want non prescription lenses.

Why not go to a cheap online, low cost, prescription glasses site and
fill in the prescription strength as ZERO. I went to
http//:www.spexmaniac.co.uk the frames were exactly what I wanted,
modern real frames and the clear lens was full optical quality.
