I would like to know how many kilograms of meat you would get from a reindeer and also get information of what different parts you get after slaughtering the animal (the labels). |

http://www.lmv.slu.se/kv/meatscience/Research/researh_reindeer.htm "The Swedish reindeer population numbers about 225,000 head (winter stock) of which 47,000 were slaughtered in 2000/2001, producing about 1,200 tones of reindeer meat. " so it means that each reindeer produces about 25 kilos of meat It is not surprising since the weight of a reindeer is around 80 kilos, of wich you take out , bones , skins ,visceras and other non meat part |
