Most of the units available are pretty large but the first link below is for a smaller one. Not sure if it is what you are looking for or not. http://www.recyclingtires.com/cutter.htm (portable bias cutter) -or- http://www.soberayandsons.com/ -or- http://www.nakata-eng.com/products.html Hope this helps |

Steel cord for tire production is normally not cut, because it will open and unraffle the cord! The cords are burned off, a single cord (up to +/-18 filaments)can be "burned-off" with a hand-held battery charged burner.A well-know supplier of this equipment is a german supplier, which name me just escaped. (I'm travelling overseas).Contact me if you need more info! Good luck. |

To forti4040-ga, I've searched in these 3 websites, but unfortunately those are not what I'm looking for. Thank you for your effort to helping me. To steelcordguy-ga, I think this is the product that I looking for. I have other information, this product had been used by one of the employees/engineers in Bekaert (the Belgian company). I?ve searched the site (www.bekaert.com), but I didn?t found it (possibly they indeed never produce it) I'll search the web again using your infomation. Thanks a lot guys. |
