I have a product (30" high statue) that I want to have produced from
aluminum (casted I assume?).  Anyway, if I wanted to contact companies
that would produce this for me (not HUGE quantities.....more like 100
at a time), where on earth would I look?  I have to think that there
are companies that will quote you and then produce whatever you want. 
When quantities get large, I assume you'd go to China.  For now, I'm
just trying to find some companies that will take my idea, quote me on
producing say 100 of them to start, and then doing it.

Try searching for aluminum foundry and then start making calls to your
search results.
