Howdy galaxy_guy-ga,

The company in question is the Calgary, Alberta (Canada) based Heritage Oil

"Heritage is currently evaluating opportunities in the Autonomous Region
of Kurdistan through a subsidiary, K Petroleum Company and in Iraq through
Heritage Middle East."

Here is their own press release, titled "HERITAGE OIL SIGNS STRATEGIC JOINT
VENTURE AGREEMENT IN IRAQ" and dated Monday, December 13, 2004, that details
the agreement.

"Heritage Oil Corporation announced today that it has formed a strategic
alliance by way of a joint venture with Eagle Group of Iraq, an economic
and industrial entity within the Autonomous Region of Iraqi Kurdistan."

You will want to read the press in detail for all of the story.

This AmericanBulls stock page shows the price of Heritage Oil Corporation
stock was indeed in the $7, well, mid-$7, range when the above article was
written. Heritage's common shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange
(TSX)under the symbol HOC.

This "Yahoo!" "Heritage Oil Corporation Company Profile" indicates that the
Heritage Oil Corporation has a long history with Iraq.
