I would like to have listed here a TIMELINE of all the Television Game
Shows from the first game show aired, through 2002. Preferably US
shows; a complete US/Europe listing would not be discouraged.
 
Please list these game shows in the following format, this will be
extremely helpful:
Year (and month if possible): "Name of Game Show"
Example:
1955: The $64,000 Question

Month) each TV GAME SHOW was first on air. Thank you very much for the
question.

As far as quicktype-ga's opinion, it is just that. 

I need the solutions fairly quickly, but like the HUGE assist from
mwalcoff-ga re the book, and will order it for future ref.

Actually, I need this answer in the next few hours...if nothing
correct is presented I'm going to have to close this and consider it
'not answerable.'

You need The Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows, available at amazon.com
(http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0816038473/qid=1029819812/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_1/102-4506796-3723339)
and other bookstores. It has 400 pages listing every game show that
ever aired on national television in the U.S.

It seems to me that $5.00 is a little low for the amount of work
involved - just my opinion.
