How big is big, and if big is truley big then how big is Enormous?

"Big" is more or less a milli-tad heftier than "large."

"Enormous" is approximately a zillion times huger than "big."

That's about the size of it.

it is all in the perspective of the viewer , for an amoeba a petri
dish is the size of a universe where as for an elephant this would be
a little thing , hence big is that what in your perspective resembles
something out of the ordinary size wise.

In physics We use < or >. There is no >>>> or <<<. Dont thing in a
crazy way and don't ask stupid questions. This area is for physics.

I disagree with sathpra-ga on the <<<< >>>> comment.  Physicists often
dismiss as negligible anything beyond a certain point in a taylor
series.

More seriously they might regard anything above a few atoms as big.

Anyway I propose people who regard physics as non-fun should have
their electricity terminated - hasta la event horizon baby !

As i Contemplate BIG i think i have made an easy answer for myself.

I believe there are 
     15,747,724,136,275,002,577,605,653,961,181,555,468,044,717,914,527,116,709,366,
      231,425,076,185,631,031,296 protons in the universe and the same
number of electrons".
      (=2**256 x 136) 
Now thats pretty big. 
Im still working on Enormous>

I would have to say the Taylor Series shows expansion from a point
with infinity, is this truely big or enormous?

Edwin Hubbell in the 1920's discovered that the universe was
expanding. He did so by observing that masses were all expanding away
from each other. As the universe expands entropy also increases as
entropy is dependent upon volume. S = k ln(W). Einstein found that the
probability of volume at a given time was equal to the equilibrium
value of the volume times e^(change of entropy divided by the
Boltzmann constant). If the change of entropy was 0 then the volume of
the universe has reached its equilibrium value. As long as entropy
increases the volume of the universe increases (4/3pi r^3). As this
was the case (see, Subtle is the Lord, Pais, at pages 74 to 75) it is
odd that Einstein would arbitrarily insert the famous cosmological
constant in his theory of general relativity to establish a static
universe as he himself found a volume dependency to entropy increases.
The insertion of the constant violated the second law of
thermodynamics which shows ever increasing entropy. The radius of the
universe defined and caused by entropy must change with time, at the
present increasing. Space in essence must be defined by its energy and
the change of energy over time is its entropy.

It dependce on your definition of big. For a human being the Earth is
big and the whole world is enormous. But for say an ant your
appartment is big and the building you are residing in is enormouse.

imply that enormous is bigger than biggest, which is obviously
impossible.

There is a well-defined meaning for "much larger than" (>>) and "much
less than" (<<) .

a >> b if (using the standard rules for significant figures), a + b = a.

a << b if (using the standard rules for significant figures), a + b = b.

Some computer languages implement this definition for special comparison operators.

Big is a subjective mesure, it is only used (in science) for
comparaison purpuses, like this cell is bigger than this cell or to
categorise for example: classifie big fis and small fish in a pond.

Big is different for each peson that uses it and has different sizes
depending on the field: a 100 micron bacteria is big but a 150cm
person is not big

you have to look at the "big" picture lol
