Caregiving can be quite hard for seniors, and then you add senior "advocates" (relatives who want less expensive rest homes to maximize inheritances) who make hell for a caregiver if they so much as go to the bathroom, let alone to the store in the middle of the night. A cellphone with a camera that can be rung, or which takes pictures and sends them on a schedule would be worth a premium to care-givers, let alone nervous baby parents. What's out there? |

Thanks, that's a lot of robot. The Sony site didn't mention whether its motion detector could trigger it to send an email with a photo or not, though that is definitely approaching the ideal. (I can receive photo emails on my cell phone.) If it could do that, that probably justify the $2,000 expense. |
