Caregiving can be quite hard for seniors, and then you add senior
"advocates" (relatives who want less expensive rest homes to maximize
inheritances) who make hell for a caregiver if they so much as go to
the bathroom, let alone to the store in the middle of the night.

A cellphone with a camera that can be rung, or which takes pictures
and sends them on a schedule would be worth a premium to care-givers,
let alone nervous baby parents.

What's out there?

Thanks, that's a lot of robot.

The Sony site didn't mention whether its motion detector could trigger
it to send an email with a photo or not, though that is definitely
approaching the ideal. (I can receive photo emails on my cell phone.)
If it could do that, that probably justify the $2,000 expense.
