This site with Audi models (2004) and Euro prices net of VAT (sales
tax) may be of interest.
The important factor in pricing - not just of autos - is market
competition. It could be that price competition on the 4w-drive
market forces Audi to make concessions in pricing, whereas in the
market for the A6 higher prices can be achieved.
