patap... "Pataphysics was created by poet and playwright Alfred Jarry (1873-1907), and is defined as the science of imaginary solutions, or the science which investigates not the laws of Nature, but the exceptions to those laws." http://www.themodernword.com/scriptorium/queneau.html The Pataphysics Web: http://hamp.hampshire.edu/%7EngzF92/jarrypub/pata/physics.html What the hell is pataphysics?: http://www.pataphysics.com/pataex.html Sorry, I found no pataphysics magazine website, or resources for purchasing issues. Searches done, via Google: pataphysics magazine homepage ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=pataphysics+magazine&as_q=homepage sublime1-ga |

Hi Patap, To buy the Pataphysics pirate issue, go to http://www.printedmatter.org and search their catalog using "pataphysics". Printed Matter is selling it for $15.00. I couldn't find any information on the "blue issue"; maybe someone else will have better luck! I searched Google using "pataphysics pirate issue". The first result was a link to a gallery that metioned the Pirate issue - the gallery obained its copy from Printed Matter. greyno |
