I'm looking for statistics on the the re-image rate (when a PC is
'ghosted' or otherwise reformatted, usually because of a software
issue) for Fortune 100 companies and/or some industry average reimage
rates.  If you are able to find information on specific companies I'm
also interested in if they have recently completed any large
acquisitions in the last year.

To give you background on this:

The company I work for (you could call it a Fortune 5 company)
believes we are experiencing a higher than usual number of laptop
reimages.  We're undertaking a project to identify the potential
causes for this.  We're trying to set a reasonable goal for our
average reimage rate across the company and we're curious to know what
other companies are operating at.
