Hi foodie,
The reason you may have run into trouble is that Braquenie is now
taken over or merged with Pierre Frey. I found many retail outlets in
France that list the Braquenie label as part of the Pierre Frey
company. For example ("tissus" is "fabric" in French):
Les autres éditeurs de tissus :
BOUSSAC / FADINI BORGHI / ROMANEX
PIERRE FREY / BRAQUENIE
LUCIANO MARCATO / LAUER /COMOGLIO /
JAB
EDMOND PETIT
SAHCO HESSLEIN
S A T
WINTER / VIDIVI / MISSONI / SOCIETY
etc

The main site for Pierre Frey gives the history of Braquenie saying,
"BRAQUENIE, maison fondée en 1824 au 16 de la rue Vivienne, est
spécialisée dans les imprimés des XVIII & XIX siècles français, toiles
de Jouy ou de Nantes ainsi que de nombreuses Indiennes avec leur arbre
de vie. Ce joyau de notre patrimoine textile est unique au monde ;
sous cette marque sont réédités périodiquement..."
Roughly translated, they say that Braquenie was founded in 1824 at 16
Vivienne Street. They specialize in imprinted textiles in the French
style from the 18th and 19th centuries, such as toiles de Jouy or de
Nantes along with a number of Indian tree of life patterns. Their
creations are unique in the world; they are revised periodically...
The main web page is here, with photos of fabric production:

Their address is found on this page. Corporate headquarters is listed
under "siege sociale"
73, rue Ste Anee
75002 Paris
Tel: 33 0 44 77 36 00
Fax: 33 1 44 77 96 55

If you go to their contact page, you will find a fill-in request form,
in case you wanted to contact them for free. The distributor map on
their contact page didn't work for me, but maybe you'll have better
luck.
As an aside, here you can find an example of an Indian tree of life
pattern they mentioned, listed by a French distributor:

Beautiful fabrics! Have fun with your shopping.
