Dear Google researchers, what?s that ravey song from a few years back
that goes ?a reet deet deet deet deet, a reet deet deet, a reet deet
deet deet, a reet deet deet? My friend James says it sounds like
'Magic Carpet Ride' by the Mighty Dub Katz but it isn?t that one.

Are the "reet deet deets" actual lyrics that are sung, or are you
trying to indicate the rhythm or mood of the song? Any additional
details would be helpful.

Hi pinkfreud. The reet deet deets are actually sung, by a female I think.

I know of the song you are refering to. I seem to remember the
particular chorus of a "reet deet deet deet" as part of a mix. It
reminded me of the song "Around the World", you can listen to a clip
below:

If this is not it then I'll keep looking.

Hi bowler.

It's definitely not Daft Punk.
It's a really cheesy commercial dance anthem.
They used to play it in clubs (South African ones anyway) a lot in the mid 90's.
