I have a DoD security clearance. Since I'm not sure what salaries
look like for cleared professionals I was wondering where I could go
on and/or off line to research the salaries of cleared professionals.
Particularly in the technology sector. I've found several sites but
none of them factor in a security clearance.

Hello Playboislim,

You don't indicate the type of clearance nor discipline (nor would I
suggest you do so) but the base salary varies by discipline and the
premium for a clearance varies by the difficulty getting that
clearance. A few sites listing the types of salaries / premium
include:

$5,000 to $15,000 premium in salary
  http://www.taonline.com/securityclearances/

$80,000 to $100,000 salary for a "Vulnerability Assessor" with 5 years
experience in IT security.

google cache has a copy)

Business 2.0 article (March 2005) indicating up to $150,000 salaries
with an entry level position at $60,000.
  http://www.business2.com/b2/web/articles/0,17863,1040104,00.html

A senior technical specialist from the Washington Post (Minimum
Salary: 70,000 Maximum Salary: 120,000 Security Clearance: CI Poly
Travel ... CITIZENSHIP + SECURITY REQUIREMENTS. US CITIZENSHIP +
ACTIVE TOP SECRET) - original reference is gone, a short term
reference is at
  http://www.indeed.com/jobs?q=+DBA+Secret+Clearance&l=Baltimore%2C+MD&rb=1

Another reference indicating the premium of salary of 10% to 20%
  http://www.intelligencecareers.com/careerseekers/index_cs_candidate_marketplace_value.cfm
(though there are other factors it lists as well)

You may also want to check out references like this "salary calculator" at
  http://www.engineersalary.com/
described at
  http://www.engineersalary.com/howitworks.asp
and describes the security premium at
  http://www.engineersalary.com/securityclear.asp
which has ranges based on percentages of base salary (about 10% but
varies by type of clearance and location in the US)

You can search for more examples with phrases like
  top secret clearance salary
  security clearance premium

If some part of the answer is unclear or you need further explanation,
please request a clarification.
