I believe that the number is not zero. The Revolutionary War and War of 1812 may count as two attempts. "Revolutionary War" Answers.com http://www.answers.com/revolutionary%20war "War of 1812" Answers.com http://www.answers.com/topic/war-of-1812 |

Both the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812 are great examples of what I am looking for. Any additional examples would be fantastic. My definition of invade is loose, and although a prime example, it does necesarly need to be an army marching into Canadian borders. If there are no other attempts on Canada outside of those two wars, I would accept your answer Scott. |

The large numbers of USA draft-dodgers who fled to Canada during the Vietnam war might be considered an invasion. Neil |

Hah mongolia. Niel: I would actually agree. Does anyone have the stats on actualy how many Americans moved to Canada to dodge and maybe some perspectives on where they went and the impact they had? Did they all come home post war or did they stay for the weather? Scott: After my own research I would gladly expecpt your links as a 5-star answer. Even if there was info about some secret assualt into canada in the 80's; reading about the war code colors of the 20's and the U.S.'s march and siege on Quebec that failed during the revolution war was well worth my 3 bucks. I only wish I had more finicial resources to really being able to employ GA reaserchers. Thanks! |
