I need someone to design and build a seat massager. I have a Premier PH2026 and it is a great chair except there is not much in the way of seat and upper leg massaging. I envision something like four metal bars with gears on the ends. On the metal bars are rubber rings of differnt sizes which do the massaging. These are driven by a strong motor. Threre are other ways to go about attempting this but what ever is easy and will hold up. The main problem why it is not done is because people will plop themselves in the chair and anything they sit on has to handle allot of weight. I realize this and will try and be as careful as possible when sitting down. This addition will fit under the main seat and it is about 19"X16" . There should be anywhere from 4-6 bars that run under the seat. Hopefuly incased gears on the end of each bar. There are a few other things that it will need. I way to lower and raise the unit from inside the chair. And a way to control the speed of the motor. If you think you can manufacture something like this I will pay in anywhere from $75.00-$300.00 for it. It would require the attaching gears to round metal bars and then a frame to hold them all togther and a motor to drive them. I will have much more details if you have the ability to do something like this. Remember you actually have to make it not just give me a design. Thanks Russ | |

Oregon, not by a long shot. HI Russ, You are apparently willing to invest up to $500 in the design and production of this enhancement to your present chair, but I seriously doubt that a chair that already has somekind of massage function can be successfully "upgraded". I would recommend your trying to find another chair that better meets your expectations. Good luck, Myoarin |
