Hi Jess05!

It appears that the patient survey is available online in Japanese
only; however some of the statistical tables are available in English
on a CD.

"Name and date of publication and survey methods: "Patient Survey" (in
two volumes) was published in March 2001 (results of the 1999 survey).
CD-ROM available.

Language: Outline of survey and some of the statistical tables are
available in English.

Hi Bobbie7!

Thanks for the information on the Japanese Patient Survey. This looks
like a great resource so I went to the website. Unfortunately, it
appears that the CD-ROM is not available outside of Japan. Any other
resources for treatment statistics in Japan will be helpful!

It appears that the Health and Welfare Statistics Association in Japan
can ship the CDs overseas; however I didn't see the patient survey
available in English.

Here is their contact information. Why don't you email them and ask if
they have the specific information you require in English.
