I am in England. I have a Sony Ericsson mobile - T630. Unlike Nokia
for example you cannot buy new covers over the counter to fit yourself
if the original cover / screen gets scratched. Is there a service in
the UK which will fit new covers to Ericsson phones?

I don't know about the UK, but in general, small stores that
specialize in phone repair should be able to do this. Also, if you
contact the folks at Sony, they may be able to help you with it,
probably charging you a replacement/labor fee. On the other hand, you
may want to consider buying a case for your phone, if it is not
already scratched. Protective cases are relatively cheap, and can be
found wherever you bought your phone, or at a store that specializes
in cell phone accessories.
