I have an L1 Visa. My wife and son have L2. I-140 and I-485 were
filed concurrently and are still pending although I anticipate
approval within the next 3-6 months if the trend continues as shown in
the USCIS website.

While I am awaiting approvals, a job opportunity with my current
employer has come up. I am considering but need to know how accepting
this new position will affect my I-140 and I-485 applications. The
two jobs are related but the job descriptions are different in most
respects. If I accept this job, will I have to start all over again
eventhough it's with the same employer?

I need help urgently.

Jason B.
