What can I do to get all the spam that is sent to me? Hey, really , I
like some of the ads and offers that I used to get. Now I get nothing!

What can I do to change that or is BIG DADDY WATCHING OUT FOR ME?

Some of my friends don't even get regular emails from me and
sometimes, we don't get their answers back. Man!!!!

Is the good and glory of email and Internet on the fade??

What ISP or online e-mail service do you use?

Your IP may have been blacklisted (start by checking with your ISP).
Most cable connections have dynamically assigned IP and I once got an
Ip that had been used by a spammer and was blacklisted. A couple of
emails solved it.

Oh, and BTW, you should be profoundly thankful you are not getting
spam. Having had the same email address for a decade now, the quantity
of spam I get is mind-boggling. If you'd like a few hundred, let me
know -- I'll send them along! ;-)

dear pendleton

Just sign up for one or more of the many of the MLM scams out there.
(otherwise known as "work at home ads" ) then you will be inundated
with spam and more spam.

Many ISPs consign what they believe is apam to a special spam folder
that you can review once a week or so, before deleting. This can
probably be accessed via your ISP online as webmail.

Some email clients (the programme you run on your computer to download
your email) may also have an automatic spam filter. If so, there
should be a folder called "spam" or "junkmail" which you can open to
look at.

I have to do this, because otherwise along with the real rubbish, they
consign some news letters I do want to the spam folder, and we still
get genuine business enquiries with a blank subject line from time to
time - also automatically marked as spam.

It's actually much quicker to sort the one or two nuggets from the
dross, than to have all the genuine emails mixed with all the spam.
