I could not become malicious. In fact, I could not become anything:
neither bad nor good, neither a scoundrel nor an honest man, neither
a hero nor an insect. And now I am eking out my days in my corner,
taunting myself with the bitter and entirely useless consolation that
an intelligent man cannot seriously become anything; that only a fool
can become something.

The quote that you've given is from Fyodor Dostoevsky's "Notes from
Underground." Are you seeking the name of an artist who has recorded
both the Beatles' "Something" and this quote?

The Dostoevsky quote is a mistake.

COVER OF BEATLES "SOMETHING" WAS ON INDIE 103.1 FM LOS ANGELES AT
AROUND 4PM SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2005. I WANT TO KNOW THE ARTIST--
AND WHETHER THE TRACK IS COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE. THEY MENTIONED BRENT
BOLT-SOMETHING-- BUT I'M NOT SURE IF THAT WAS IN REFERENCE TO THAT
SONG.

Hello jon72,

According to YES -- a database of songs during the previous 24 hours
or so on many radio stations -- the track you heard this afternoon
was:

"03:44 PM THE BEATLES Something (George Harrison Demo, Mono) Anthology 3"

"Los Angeles, CA -- KDLE/KDLD 103.1 -- 3:44 PM"
YES Inc.

The Beatles' Anthology 3 is available at various stores, such as:

"Anthology 3 -- The Beatles"
Amazon.com
