I am curious why companies such as Movielink and the broadband
streaming tv station Starz (which is partnered with Real Networks to
stream) services are only available in the USA and they block it
internationally. Is it a legal issue, security issue, the networks
restrict international, business reasons, or any other answer?
Please bring proof of your answer.
If you are unable to get direct reasoning for them blocking their
services internationally, then please state if it is possible to
provide services such as Movielink and starz internationally and if
there was any laws, studio banning of such services or anything else
holding back from creating such a service.
