I am giving a presentation on how resource project finance works ( with a particular focus on base metals) and as general background would like to include some statistics on the resource debt market to give the audience a sense of how developed the market is. Accordingly, my question is since 1 January 2004 ( or other surrounding date that information can be most easily gathered on )what is : 1. the amount of debt raised for mining projects globally and if possible, number of projects. 2. the amount of debt in paragraph 1 split between borrowers in each of the UK, Australia, Canadia and the US ( note: projects may be located anywhere and this question relates to the location of the borrowing company). 3. if possible, details for paragraphs 1 and 2 as it relates to base metal projects only. |
