What are good resources (on the web and otherwise) for finding out
about biomedical research in Mexico? I am interested in learning about
the major research institutions, government agencies, individual
scientists, and the primary programs. Also about funding--how much
total is awarded, by and to whom, and who are the research leaders? Is
international funding important? What areas of research are
well-funded? I have some minimal Spanish but anything in English would
be preferred. Also, as I'm interested in this type of information for
multiple countries, are there resources that would be helpful in
providing this same type of information for other countries as well?
Some sort of organization or website, say, that compares federal
funding of health research in various countries?
I am not looking for a history of medical research, or any information
about social, environmental or agricultural sciences, etc. My goal is
to be able to gain understanding about the state of medical research
in Mexico--a list of resources would be great. |
