Looking for childrens book my daughter adored and I've lost it. The cover is
blue and shows 2 children, big brother Bud and little sister Patty (Pattie,
Pati ??) Bud tricks his little sister into helping him make a garden. 
Patty does all the work for Bud, but then finds out she was tricked
and tricks him
by "planting" a twig and hanging peppermint candies from it.  Can't remember the
name of it and it is driving me crazy!!  I would love to have it to read to
my 4 year old granddaughter.  If anybody knows the name of the book, author or
anything to help, boy would daughter and I be grateful! Don't know the
age of the book, but my daughter was born in 1968.

Could it be In the Garden Storybook 7B Pam Gets to Dig and Pam's
Peppermint Plant by Buchanan, Cynthia Dee, Illustrated by Moore,
Carol?

I had the name of the girl wrong, but it was Bud - I thought 
Bud tricked Pam, but now I find it was the other way around.
WHEW - I tore this house apart looking for it and will be glad
to have the book soon.  Now, how did you remember this book?
