Ok, I remember playing this old game that I really loved. In the game, you were a pilot of this little space craft (which you could upgrade, or sell for new ones) and you went around either carrying cargo, finding criminals, or just being a taxi. It had blocky 3d graphics but it was still an awesome game for the time. I really wish I knew what game it was, because I could probably get it for like 3 bucks now... :-D Any help? | |

I believe the game you're looking for might be Escape Velocity. |

Ok, it's not privateer, and it's not Escape velocity, but thank you for the suggestions. The game I'm looking for is more of a flight simulator than a top-view arcade game. |

I remember it being a computer game. And based on the time frame that I remember playing it, it was either on my father's macintosh, or on my windows 98 computer. I DO NOT believe it used dos to play. Also, I don't remember there being bonuses after completing levels, infact there weren't levels. It was just money rewards for a mission-to-mission basis. One specific mission that I remember was when one of the 'police stations' gave me a mission to find some fugative. The mission involved destroying his ship, then picking him up for delivery to the police. Sorry I don't remember more, but it was a while ago. |
