Ok, I remember playing this old game that I really loved. In the game,
you were a pilot of this little space craft (which you could upgrade,
or sell for new ones) and you went around either carrying cargo,
finding criminals, or just being a taxi. It had blocky 3d graphics but
it was still an awesome game for the time. I really wish I knew what
game it was, because I could probably get it for like 3 bucks now...
:-D Any help?

Dear daspawnofsatan,

Is the classic "Frontier: Elite II" the game you have in mind?

Please let me know if this is the right game.

I believe the game you're looking for might be Escape Velocity.

Ok, it's not privateer, and it's not Escape velocity, but thank you
for the suggestions.

The game I'm looking for is more of a flight simulator than a top-view arcade game.

daspawnofsatan

Is it a standup arcade system game, pc, Atari, Coleco, Sega cartridge
roms, old laser disc, firmware based Nintendo, Windows 3.1, Windows
based software, Mac Based software, what year did you play it and also
bonuses you acquired when level completion. all this helps us instead
of ...I Remember when?

I remember it being a computer game. And based on the time frame that
I remember playing it, it was either on my father's macintosh, or on
my windows 98 computer. I DO NOT believe it used dos to play.

Also, I don't remember there being bonuses after completing levels,
infact there weren't levels. It was just money rewards for a
mission-to-mission basis.

One specific mission that I remember was when one of the 'police
stations' gave me a mission to find some fugative. The mission
involved destroying his ship, then picking him up for delivery to the
police.

Sorry I don't remember more, but it was a while ago.

Was the game set on a planet, or moon of jupiter, and the craft you
flew called a moth? If so i remeber the games and will get you the
title of it as i have it buried in my desk drawer
