Hello! Well, it's an interesting topic, but before trying to give you an answer, let me ask you: who are the five most influential psychologists for you? Also, I think the concept of 'happiness' has much more to regarding the field of philosophy rather than psychology. What do you think? Best regards, |

Hi, I think psychology, philosophy and theology each share a certain consistency about the pursuit of happiness being a basic human motivation. My hope is I can verify the point about psychologyby coming up with what some leading contemporary psychologist say about the subject. For me the most influential psychologists are Freud, Erickson. James. Piaget. Skinner, Rogers, etc. But they are no longer with us. Sadly, I can't think of anyone currently alive other than Maslow, maybe Bandura who are as influential as these.
