Here's a very active website by a very well-known couple,
Janet Kira Lessin and her husband Sasha Lessin, which has
ongoing seminars and conferences in tantric (and polyamory,
as well, if that might be of interest). Here's a page with
a one-day tantric event in New York on October 1, 2005.
$145 Singles, $195 pairs:
"(This event is gender balanced. To qualify as a pair you
must register together. Same sex pairs are permitted)"

They also have a one-day event on the following day for
those who are interested not only in tantric, but in
polyamory as well. It's also in New York on October 2,
2005. $145 Singles, $195 pairs, with the same note as
above:
"Our blend of tantra and modern transformative, spiritual
sexuality exercises with Jungian psychology gives you
hands-on experiences, reverent relationship rituals,
inspirational demonstrations, fun-filled fantasy
fulfillments and coached coupling. Choreograph the dance
of yin and yang at each chakra. You raise your consciousness,
improve pairing and model more love. Connect deeper with
your partner or find new love...ideal for beginners as
well as experienced polys, tantricas and lifestylers."

Here's another site, The ChakraSambara Meditation Center
based in New York. with classes which started in September
which have already started, but you may be able to start
late. The focus seems more on the concepts of tantric,
with a greater emphasis on it as a path to spiritual
enlightenment:
"Mahamudra Tantra"
"During this course, based on the brand new book by Ven.
Geshe Kelsang, we will explore the extraordinary practices
of Tantra, especially the training in Mahamudra, the very
essence of tantric practice. Mahamudra Tantra is the swift
path to enlightenment taught by Buddha. These teachings
will revolutionize our outlook. If correctly practiced and
understood, they will enable us to integrate even our busy
urban lives with this blissful and imaginative spiritual
training."

who offers private coaching sessions:
"Discover your ecstatic self through individualized tantra
sessions for men, women and couples in a warm, tranquil
and safe environment. You and/or your partner will explore
unimaginable levels of sexual pleasure, deepening your
emotional, physical and spiritual connections."

Carla is also listed on Tantra.com and works some of
the time in New York:
"Carla offers private tantric energy sessions for men,
women and couples in New York, San Francisco, Maui and
the DC area and presents Tantra workshops for groups
in those regions several times a year. Her twenty years
of experience as a psychotherapist, yoga instructor and

Here's the schedule page for her workshops, which hasn't
been updated lately, it seems, but you can always contact
her directly for either workshops or private sessions:

Also on that Tantra.com page is Mark Michaels (Swami
Umeshanand Saraswati) & Patricia Johnson (Veenanand)

Tantric Kriya Yoga and are committed to providing

The Body Electric School is offering a Two Spirits workshop:
"Two Spirits: A Retreat for Men & Women With EMaya Dillon-Shaw
and William McMeniman or Selah Martha and Collin Brown"
"Upstate New York (Easton Mountain), Oct 6-10, 2005"
"Women and men have so much to learn from and to teach each
other. This four-day retreat creates a supportive community
that explores and celebrates the potential healing power of
all human beings. We will use conscious breath, massage and
guided rituals to awaken the connections between sexuality
and spirituality, and between the feminine and masculine
within ourselves. When we honor our bodies and connect from
our hearts, we can access collective wisdom to nourish body
and soul."

Finally, here's a recent, previous answer to a very similar
question, answered by my colleague politicalguru-ga, which
provides some additional resources which may be useful:
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=545371
As you can see, there are a variety of approaches to Tantra,
from a primarily spiritual approach based on a hierarchical
traditions from Eastern religious disciplines and practices
such as Mantra, to the more hands-on and physical approaches
based on personal expertise rather than a lineage, as such,
but which also focus on the spiritual aspects of the ultimate
in intimacy and union with the Divine through union with your
partner. There's also everything in between.
I've tried to present a smorgasbord of possibilities from
which you can choose, if this will be your first exposure
to tantra. If you already have some idea of the sort of
experience you're seeking, it will be much easier for you
to select from the options I've presented.
Please do not rate this answer until you are satisfied that
the answer cannot be improved upon by way of a dialog
