What is the purpose of the program netco.exe which I see running in my
Windows XP Pro task manager?

netco.exe is related to a Trojan infection, more precisely
Trojan.Agent.BI ; the first thig you can do is to download Ewido, a

is doing. Reboot your computer normally and download HijackThis.
