How much do seaports charge shippers (owner of shipments) or transporters (ship owners)? 1. price for loading/unloading a container to/from a ship 2. price for loading/unloading a vehicle to/from a ship 3. price for...what other charges do seaports charge to shippers or transporters? I am studying the economics of seaports in the US, and this question addresses their revenue from shippers and transporters. An ideal response would be a table that has the prices as the colums and the ports as rows. The number of ports in the table does not need to be many -- it can be just a few if those that are listed are major ports and the prices are fairly consistent across the ports. The number of columns will depend on how many answers you will find for the #3 above. An alternate form of response would be a list of links to the price lists of major ports. Googling "financial statement" "port of" gives a list of ports and links to their financial statements, annual reports, etc. from which you can hopefully find the charge items and prices that I'm looking for. Thanks for your help. |
