Within 2 miles of your business there are:

27,028 residence addresses

and

1,417 business addresses


Just to be clear, this is a count of the addresses within a 4 mile
wide circle, with your business at the center.


I'd be happy to post the details of how I arrived at these figures, as
an answer to your question.  But before doing so, I wanted to make
sure that these were the sort of ballpark numbers you were expecting.

If you want to adjust the distance to make for a larger or smaller
number of deliveries, I'd be glad to do so.

That is more than I thought. Could you do a 3 mile circle, 1 1/2 miles
in each direction and post that as your answer. Thank you

A site called Mellisa Data has some very nice, very handy lookup tools
for demographic information.

Here's a link to a search I conducted at Melissa Data for the number
of addresses within a 1.5 mile radius of your location:

This is a tabel of Post Office carrier routes in the area -- the
actual number of addresses that each postal delivery person services
on his/her route.

As you can see at the bottom of the table, the total number of
addresses in a 1.5 mile radius circle is:

15,274 residence addresses

662 business addresses 


Note that for each route, some information is provided on the distance
from your location, as well as some income ("upper middle") and age
("younger") descriptions -- this may help you fine-tune your
distribution.


I took the liberty of conducting a similar search for a 1-mile radius circle:
