Question ID: 568288
Hello,
I have a blog at blogger.com.
I also have a hit counter on the blog.
I registered the blog with pingomatic and My Yahoo.
Every time I place new content on it, the hit counter shows 3-4 visits.
When I don't, I get zero traffic.
My question: The 3-4 visits on my hit counter, are they simply the spiders
crawling, or are they real visitors?
In other words, do the spiders of pingomatic, etc. trigger a hit on
the hit counter every time they crawl the blog?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Gabe

I have posted this question more than two weeks ago, yet there is no answer.
Is the question (ID:568288) not answerable? It seems to me like a very simple one.
Best regards,
Gabe
