I have a custom Internet Explorer toolbar that I want to show without making changes to the registry and without restarting the Internet Explorer Browser. Microsoft's documentation on toolbars indicates that you have to make registry changes and restart Internet Explorer, but I know that it is possible to inject a new toolbar into the IE browser without modifying the registry and without restarting the IE browser because I have seen a few toolbars do it. The correct answer to this question will point me to a complete example in either C++ or preferably, Visual Basic on how to add a custom IE toolbar to a running instance of Internet Explorer without modifying the registry or restarting the browser. | |
