Question ID: 568335
I'm wondering if technology exists yet for a walkman/ipod style of
satellite radio? Meaning that the receiver would not have to be
docked in order to work. My understanding is that a receiver can be
docked in a car or through a home kit, but I couldn't neccessarily
pick up the receiver and bring it to a restaurant and continue
listening, for example. Is this correct? I thought I did hear that
technology was evolving for my example to work in the near future.
Any further information or verification would be desired. Thanks.

Ah ha. Interesting. Exactly what I was talking about. Guess it is
not yet available for Sirrius. Thanks for the information...my search
was limited to Sirrius which is why I did not come up with this info.
appreciate it.
