I asked a question yesterday and haven?t receive any answer. It is
intitled : ?Evaluation of an equipement (commentaries from users or
evaluation in articles)? and dated 14 Sep 2005 11:51

According to your former searches, I think you could be among the most
capable searchers to answer the question I asked yesterday (40$).

I add 10$ to answer the following question (useful to answer the
other) : give me at least 10 good url for metalworking or machining
journals / reviews / publications (weekly or monthly) available on
Internet with search capabilities to poke in their articles archives.

For more details on what I am looking for, see the 14 Sept question.

So here the deal : answer this question for 10$ or (better for me) answer
this question and those of yesterday (14 Sept) and have 40$ + 10$, and
my deeply thanks ;-)

I need to receive your answer (or at least a part of it) before Friday night.

Someone can help me ???

Thanks for asking, but I did a bit of searching when your other
question was first posted, and did not find any information relevant
to the machinery you mentioned.

Perhaps someone else will have better luck.

Hello quiquequoicomment-ga,

Thank you for asking for me specifically. I?ve collected some websites
that will give you links to at least 100 publications/newsletters on
metalworking or machining. I hope that they will give you the
resources you need to continue your research.

I took a look at your other question and I regret to tell you that I
haven?t been able to find anything useful.

I hope that this information will help you meet your deadline.

All the best.

SEARCH STRATEGY
metalworking OR machining journals OR reviews OR publications

It is not really an answer clarification. It is to say thank you to
pafalafa and czh.

I appreciate the comments you posted about my former question. When
you said you didn't find anything on it, you saved me a lot of time,
because I suppose I would have spent a lot of time searching for
nothing. It already worth my grateful thanks.

I will rate this answer according to the second part of my question
(neglecting the 14 Sept question)

I will use the czh answer to try to find what I am looking for, but I
will take broader key words. It could be a long job !

Do you have in hands a kind of «intelligent agent» that could search
in the 3 url CZH gave to me, so we can poke in nearly 100 publications
with only one request ? (I know I am perhaps day dreaming, but ...)
If by any chance your answer was yes (even just in parts), perhaps I
could ask an other question asking to do this job ! (but I suppose the
answer will be «you don't have such a search engine», because if yes
you would have use it !). If your answer in «no», I will have to
spend a lot of time looking in each url. I nearly wish they forecast
rain in my area ;-)

Greeting from the french part of Canada where, unfortunately, they
forecast a nice weather tomorrow !

Hello again quiquequoicomment-ga,

Here are my suggestions for approaching your search. My hunch is that
you know something about the field of metalworking/machining so you
will be able to make some quick determinations about which
publications among the 100+ I found might be a good source for the
information you seek. Rank them in the order you think they are most
likely to be useful and then search them one by one.

Another avenue that might be useful is to do a fairly broad Google
search ("Turning Center" Daewoo puma) to see who is reporting on or
writing about new equipment. You?re trying to identify people or
organizations that care about the topic you?re trying to investigate.
When you find an author or publication that seems knowledgeable
contact them to find out if they know anything about the particular
equipment you?re interested in. Even if they say ?no? they might be
able to help you find other authorities or experts. You might also
conduct similar searches in Google Groups, Google Blogsearch as well
as using other blog search tools.

Good luck.

I appreciate this «extra job» you did for me (even if it wasn't what I
asked for in my «answer clarification» and even if some of the last
url you gave me in your last message were very little relevant).
Thank you for your kind advices, and fast answer. They were
appreciated. As thank for your good job I add a 10$ tip. Last think
to say : it is raining now, so I can poke in your numerous url ;-)

Hello quiquequoicomment-ga,

Thank you very much for the generous tip.

I'm sorry that you felt the information and links I gave in my
clarification were not relevant. You had indicated you were trying to
locate reviews of a certain piece of machinery and that you had looked
in Google Groups but didn't get very far. Since you are trying to find
people who might know/care about a certain class of equipment, I gave
you search strategies and sources (including blog searches) to help
you find them. I hope they will help you with your frustrating search.
Unfortunately, sometimes there's no easy way.

Good luck with your project.
