i am trying to install windows 98 se on my hp omniebook cs laptop the prolem is ihave a external cd rom and cant get the driver to install from the floppy it just comes up bad command or file name |

How are you trying to install the driver? What command are you entering? |

hi roy, Following are the steps for solving ur problem: 1. Note the location of setup.exe. For example if it is a:\install\setup.exe 2. Now use the following command on the MS DOS prompt. SET PATH=%PATH%;a:\install 3. Hit Enter key 4. Now, write setup on the prompt and the setup will run. |
