Wal-mart using fiscal year 2005 information?

Mybabies --

If you're seeking the beta or co-variance with the market for 2005,
it's not in the firm's financial data. It would have to be
calculated over the days that Wal-Mart traded this year:
http://www.atlanticfinancial.com/dictionary/beta.htm

While there's great argument over what kind of period should be used
to measure beta, you'll commonly see the beta measured over a
three-year or longer period.

Are you actually seeking a source for Wal-Mart's beta, so that you can
do the calculations using the CAPM?

Best regards,
