Is there a place online where I can buy single copies of new
magazines?  What I want is a virtual newsstand where I can buy single
issues (not complete magazine subscriptions) of current popular
magazines and get them shipped to my house. (I do not live in NYC, by
the way - I know at one point places like Kozmo.com would deliver
magazines to your house in NYC).

except with the site you mentioned you can't specify what issue you
get - they just send you a "representative" issue of their choosing,
which means the issue they send you may be a month or two old.  That's
not going to work for me - I want to know ahead of time what issue I'm
getting.

Actually just noticed that site doesn't have the best selection, and
