Hi,

I'm writing a story, part of of which takes place around 50BC in
Greece (right before Caesar's death in Rome).

I want to find out what it was like in Greece durring this time.  

I want to know the culture of the Greeks at this point in time:  Food,
religion, clothing, slavery, family structure, occupations, etc.

I want to know about the politics of the time.  What did they think of
the Romans subjegating their nations?  Was there any resistance to
Roman rule?  How did their political system run under Roman
domination?  Who was govenor of Greece?  Etc....

To reiterate:  I want to find out about Greece around 50BC.  Not
Greece of 150BC or 50AD, but Greece as it was around 50BC.

SO MY QUESTION IS:  Where can I get books that cover THIS TIME and  THIS PLACE?

Most everything I find talks about the Greeks at other times in their history.
