I need one of the two following: a) to find a conversion kit that will work for my car with instructions that someone with reasonable electrical and mechanical skills could follow. b) a service company in the Pacific Northwest (or at least west of the Rockies, if they were really hot stuff) who could do this. I can't spend a whole lot of money on this. I need a product or a service that is reliable and reputable. |

You'll find some useful general info and lots of links in this flyer from the Electric Auto Association: http://www.eaaev.org/Forms-Docs/eaaflyer-evconversions.pdf |

Here's an EV conversion of a 1996 Geo Tracker. The good news: it can be done. The bad news: it took 600 hours and cost $9500. http://www.austinev.org/evalbum/516.html |
