I would like to use Gate's Named Entity Recognizer "Annie" from the command line in the Linux environment. Optimally something like this: java <options> gate.jar <input document> <output document>. I was able to run a Goldfish example, the way it was described here:http://www.gate.ac.uk/GateExamples/doc/README with the following command: java -cp goldfish.jar:/GATE_PATH/bin/gate.jar:/GATE_PATH/bin/tools14.jar TotalGoldfishCount testFile.txt. I guess the "Embedding ANNIE" example available at: http://www.gate.ac.uk/GateExamples/doc/index.html is a good starting point. However, so far I was not able to execute it. Any help for a newbe Java&GATE user, please. |
