Question ID: 569361
I am looking for contact information (web address, email address and
phone number) for companies that provide lead lists to IT technology
and data storage vendors. http://salesarc.com is one such example.
Ideally, I would like this list of list providers to include a few
general service companies like Sales Arc and set of list providers who
focus on IT purchasers in the following specific industries:
-- Healthcare
-- Bio-medical/pharmaceutical
-- Financial services
-- Computer technologies
-- Academic institutions and universities
Including the general industry providers, I am hoping to get at least
2 providers per industry, but no more than 6.

I know qualitative question are a little bit tougher to answer, but
extra bonus points if you can also find 3rd party reviews or any other
indicators of the relative quality of the organizations you find.

Most list providers I am aware of (I'm not an expert!) that are very
targeted to a specific group are the lists provided by magazines of
their subscriber base.

For instance, I know there are publications focused directly at IT
execs in the healthcare industry.

In general, these lists tend to be very well-focused since who else is
going to get a subscription to an IT-in-healthcare publication other
than someone in the business.

Are lists like these of interest to you? If so, I can probably track
down lists for some (but probably not ALL) of your categories.

Let me know what you think.

I think that's right. Trade magazines will be a major provider of the
type of lists I am looking for. Computer technologies would be the
industry I am least interested in. Unfortunately, it is also the
easiest to find IT related trade magazines on.

If in your list of list providers, there are enough general IT
providers to choose from and you can fill in the list with enough
information that I can make coherent choices between them, then I can
live with having list providers from 3 or so of industries I have
specified. Examples of the more detailed information I would want to
see would be price and size of the list, freshness of the list, lead
conversion success, and if the lists themselves are internally broken
down by industry or other category. Trusting the providers own
marketing is okay.

I am satisfied if I can get between 7 and 15 total list providers with
enough information that I can compare them and be reasonably confident
that the lists I ultimately buy will cover the industries I have
mentioned.

pafalafa-ga,
Thanks for taking a look at my question, but I have found a little
bit more infomration on my own and I will be canceling the question. I
may repost a related but more focused question at a later date. thanks
again.
