I would expect that you want to start by supplying a local area. Where?
What kind of Asian noodles?
To whom do you want to sell, delivering to restaurants, selling
retail, directly or by delivering to stores?
What will you offer that can compete with the major suppliers?

Sorry about the many questions, but at the moment you could be in
London or Oshkosh as far as we know.

You may also want to narrow your search down even further to the type
of Asian noodle. There are instant, ramen, fresh, Japanese udon,
Chinese mien, Korean Kal guk su and so on. In each style of noodle,
the market narrows way down, and although there are some larger
companies that do a diversity of food products, the type of noodle
will make answering your question alot easier.

Reply; At this time we are operating as a grain elevator in Central
Oklahoma we have captive supply of 12,000 tons of hard red winter
wheat. We have noticed over the years that our wheat has an end user
that manufacturers asian noodles in Venz. and a new one in Coasta
Rica. As per our local university a new large mill is being built
by a Korean company in L.A.?? none in US. at this time??
We have a large asian pop. in Okc,Dallas, Wichita, Ks. as well as
Garden City and Dodge City Ks. all within 4 hours of us.
Our marketing will be guided by demand we currenly have daily
delivery to most zip codes in 5 states. I have toyed with the Closed
Cooperative system, seeing the liabilty laws leaning toward their
favor.As well as lending rates.
To begin with we will direct market to Specialty Grocers and
distributors, as well as internet sales. This is all possible if the
margin is in place, and do this i need a data base of manufacturers to
obtain prices. Thanks for your input, Tom

Thanks for the additional information.
As I understand things now, what you really need is a list of
representative manufacturers to get an idea of their prices, capacity,
possibly financial figures etc. that will give you insight into the
industry.
Presumably, you are only interested in making noodles from your hard
red winter wheat, which may narrow down the types of noodles.

You have put a "professional" price on the question and deserve a
professional answer from a GA-Researcher (their names appear in blue).
The more information you can provide, perhaps also suggesting the
number of manufacturers that would be sufficient, the likelier it is
that one can help you.

Good luck, Myoarin
