I have a DECT cordless phone supplied by BT in the UK. I have put a UK
to RJ11 converter on it so that it now plugs into the phone socket in
my Spanish house but it won't work - no dial tone. Any ideas?

Dear Nigel,

Is it possible that the cordless phone is ISDN one, and the outlet is
an analogue one?
