Need 4 formulae for projecting multiple populations to yr 2025. I have
grouped the populations into 4 locations on the Sigmoid Curve. Those
in group 1 are in very slow growth mode and at the almost flat part of
the beginning of the curve. The second group has begun to acelerate
and are located where the curve is just picking up some verticality.
The third group is in very fast group 3+% a year and are located in
the almost vertical curve. The last group of pops are near capacity
and are slowing to the flatter denouement stage of the curve.
Can I use investment-type calculators to simulate these curves? I have
existing pop (Principal), rate of growth (%rate), target year and
would use a yearly compounding scheme. Can you give me something like
that? I cannot see how I could figure the denouement stage populations
with the bank calculators unless I go back to the lowest growth rate
and adjust the target years. What do you think? If calcultors for the
typical sigmoid curve exist I would greatly prefer that to the
investment ones.
