This message jumps unto my screen repeatedly. Also when I try to
uninstall my HP 95 OfficeJet to perhaps fix this problem, I can't
uninstall it, it says there is something running.

Try following the procedures outlined on this web site:

http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/get_doc.pl?SNI=officejetg19542&LC=multifunction&Tfile=bpu03107#P5_912

To summarize the steps they list:
Get this uninstaller utility from HP and run it.
http://productfinder.support.hp.com/tps/Hub?h_tool=software&h_lang=en&h_cc=us&h_product=hpofficeje30375,hpofficeje30372,officejetg19543,officejetg19542

Install Windows 2000 Service Pack 1 if you're running Windows 2000.

Download the latest drivers from HP here:
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/nonjsnav/officejetg19541.html

Restart your computer and close any programs that may be open before
re-installing the drivers you downloaded.

Hope this helps you with your problem.

I had tried these previously and they did not work or solve my problem.

What does it say is running when you try to uninstall?

It says
" HP AiO Uninstaller could nor shut down HP Officejet software. Please
shut down all programs and try again."
(BUT ALL WAS SHUT DOWN FROM WHAT I COULD SEE.)

Try starting in Safe Mode (hold F8 before or at the screen where it
says "Starting Windows..." and you should be presented with a menu of
options.) Then run the uninstall program.

I apologize for the delay in responding to your question clarification
requests; I was clearly in the wrong in this regard.

However, for future reference, please list the "obvious solutions" you
might have tried already without success; these answers are not
obvious to everyone, and often simple solutions solve a lot of
people's problems.

Again, I apologize for jumping the gun on this question and then
failing to follow through.
