I would be satisfied with. <$500M in size. Salary of $250,000 minimum.
All industries. I know most are  filled by recruiters but with the
internet more and more are being posted by recruiters on line plus
other sources are posting them. Focused in the Los Angeles area. It
doesn't matter if it is private or public. No not for profit please.

found very few ads that actually list the company's name (as it is
usually confidential), and most of the ads actually use the contact
details of a recruitment agency.head-hunter. Would these suffice (or

I would like the postings to be from no earlier than 9/12. It would
not be a problem is the company size was not posted. Also, 10-20
postings would be good. Of course closer to 20 would be ideal.
Remember they must be in the LosAngeles area. Could also be somewhat
north of LA such as Westlake Village, Calabasas, Thousand Oaks and
Agora Hills. You can also add ventura county in this. Also, ads with
just sources and not the company name ie. from recruiters is good
also.

for identify opportunities for yourself? Are you looking for someone

the context about as specific as I can get.  I'm leaving it general as
to the market because I have  a diverse background. Do the best you
can.

Hello kev55-ga,

You said, ?Do the best you can.? I?m taking this as an invitation to
give you the best assistance for helping you find a CEO job, not just
give you CEO job postings.

First things first. I?ve found nine CEO job postings in the Los
Angeles area that might meet your needs. Some of them do not show
salary. Some don?t show exact location. It?s not possible to determine
the date of the original posting for some of them. As you can see, the
likelihood of finding CEO jobs posted on open job boards is fairly
slim.

The next question to explore is whether CEO jobs are posted on closed
job boards. Recruiters don?t want to be inundated with
hundreds/thousands of inappropriate resumes. Posting high level jobs
on fee-based job boards is one way to increase the probability of
finding appropriate candidates. You might consider subscribing to some
of these.

I?m familiar with recruiting so I can tell you that most CEO
recruiting is handled by executive search firms and the higher the
level of the job, the more likely it will be a retained search. If
you?re interested in finding a CEO job you will have to come to the
attention of the recruiter and/or the hiring manager. Such connections
are usually made through personal referrals or by networking. The open
job boards are not likely to be very useful.

I?ve provided you with a variety of resources to help you explore
using alternative job search methods other than job postings. I think
they will be more fruitful than trolling for job postings. Please
don?t hesitate to ask for clarification if any of this is confusing.

Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Russell J.
"Rusty" Hammer announced his resignation Thursday, citing a lengthy
battle with leukemia "and a variety of complications resulting from

top post, according to report.

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Chief executive officer turnover continued to
rise in May to 120 announced departures, the fourth consecutive month
of 100 or more changes, according to a report released Wednesday.

The May figure was more than double the 57 CEO changes announced in
the same month a year ago, according to outplacement firm Challenger,
Gray & Christmas, Inc.

Chief executive turnover, which increased from 117 changes in April,
can be traced to several factors, including planned retirements,
performance records, post-Enron ethical issues and changing priorities
in corporate strategy, the report said.
