DEAR JOHN316:
Your clarification provided essential clues (about the previous
husband, Mr. Csuppay, and Mrs. Hoffman's birthdate) that helped to
solve this case!!
Apparently whoever furnished you the search information may have been
unclear about the spelling or pronunciation of the first name.
There is a LUCIA G. HOFFMAN, BORN JAN 4, 1913 (the exact birthdate you
mentioned) who died JANUARY 6, 2002 in Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 which
is in BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA--her SSN 116-38-5596.
An attorney or some other interested party has filed papers at the
courthouse to administer her estate, and the filing was done on May
30, 2002. To get information about her estate, call the courthouse
and ask them how many pages are in the probate file and the copy fee
is $1.00 per page and you will need to mail them a money order to get
copies of the file. If I were you I would order a copy of the entire
file so you can get a complete view of how the estate was handled,
financial and other information is in there.

RE: LUCIA G. HOFFMAN CASE NUMBER 2002-2368-CP-02
LOCAL CASE NUMBER INFORMATION WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT BE NEEDED:
13-2002-CP-002368-0000-02
There was also a mention of a case number for LESLIE L. CSUPPAY,
1993-1158-GD-02, who I assume is the name that Laszlo was going by,
where it appears he had to apply for official guardianship of Lucia.
You can get information about both of these cases (previously
mentioned) from the Civil Court Office.
I tried to post this information as an answer, but I don't understand
why the system will not let answers be posted by other members--it
seems like only the Google researchers can get that direct access to
give answers. How will I be able to be paid for the accurate
information I provided if I can't enter it as an answer?
Anyway, I'm glad that you were smart enough to use GOOGLE ANSWERS to
find a solution to your problem. The researchers here are super
intelligent and have such a wide range of knowledge. You can find the
answer to almost anything in the world, here!!
If you need further genealogical help in getting information about
Lucia or her family, go to the website www.peoplesearch.com and post a
search message that mentions her name and the public can assist you.
Good luck to you in your quest for information, and I'm sure you will
find what you needed from the very helpful people at the courthouse.
SINCERELY,
